About the Role
Ability Beyond is seeking passionate individuals to support adults with developmental and physical disabilities, helping them live their best lives in day programs or in the community. This role is crucial for enhancing independent living skills and community participation.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one training to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Help individuals develop or enhance skills needed for independent living.
- Assist individuals in participating in social and recreational activities.
- Support individuals in gaining independence with daily living activities such as laundry, housekeeping, and money management.
- Engage individuals in group and solo activities, including sports, plays, and dinner outings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Personal vehicle
