About the Role
CACI seeks a motivated systems engineer ready to apply and learn new skills to support the development of a mission-critical capability in the DoD sphere. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers on design, manufacture, development, and test phases.
Responsibilities
- Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills in technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team (communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical) to drive successful product development.
- Decompose allocated system requirements into lower-level requirements for development assignment.
- Develop requirements verification test matrices.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years directly in systems engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in architecture, design, development, integration, and test phases of system engineering.
- Demonstrated experience working in cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Expertise in creating and reviewing contract deliverable documentation, including technical documentation.
- Experience in the development and test of RF based systems (Desired).
- Experience with MBSE tools (Desired).
- Experience creating customer documentation (Desired).
- Experience communicating with executive leadership (Desired).
- Interest in mentoring/coaching junior systems engineers (Desired).
