About the Role
CHG is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution in a spec-driven development environment. This role involves defining the product roadmap and authoring detailed technical specifications for engineering teams. You will be embedded within engineering workflows, participating in design reviews, reviewing pull requests for spec alignment, and writing prototypes and code to validate assumptions.
Responsibilities
- Author and own detailed technical specifications for product initiatives, including system context, data flows, API contracts, acceptance criteria, and edge case definitions
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap grounded in customer research, market analysis, and business objectives
- Write prototypes, proof-of-concept scripts, and lightweight automation to validate assumptions and accelerate decision-making
- Participate in the building by taking existing code, understand how it works, and deploy changes
- Partner with engineering as an embedded team member: participate in design reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and pull request reviews for spec alignment
- Define product metrics, design experiments (A/B tests, cohort analysis), and independently extract and analyze data to drive prioritization
- Translate technical complexity into clear narratives for business stakeholders and business context into actionable direction for engineers
- Break large initiatives into shippable increments defined in specs, ensuring a consistent delivery cadence and early detection of scope or quality risks
- Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to inform product direction and identify high-leverage opportunities

- Background in data analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks
