About the Role
Studio Munge is seeking a technical and creative Junior Interior Designer to join their growing team. This role involves supporting design teams on complex hospitality and multi-residential projects, contributing to concept development, and executing project elements from ideation to completion. The ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for design and a curious mindset.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to multiple projects of moderate complexity from varying stages of completion within schedule and budget.
- Support team in the concept development of large-scale projects.
- Select and specify all interior design elements with relevance to the established design narrative.
- Assist in client success by supporting the design team in achieving project goals.
- Be proactive in researching and learning design elements required for the project.
- Prepare design specifications documents using studio software, Fohlio.
- Assist in pulling images and design ideas together for presentation.
- Ensure design concepts align with Studio Munge’s vision and studio standards.
Requirements
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- Possess a creative and curious mindset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate within a diverse team.
