About the Role

H2M architects + engineers is seeking a Staff Designer to join their White Plains, NY team. The Education & Learning Architecture group offers the opportunity to work on real-world residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects within a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture. This role blends creativity and practical design to deliver sustainable, client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist project teams and work on a variety of projects from design through construction administration.
Generate and manage the development of architectural design and project drawings.
Interface/coordinate architecture and engineering disciplines to develop and execute architectural design concepts.
Function as a designer to the extent necessary to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
Client interaction and teamwork with other disciplines.
Architectural CAD production and document coordination.
Solve problems, coordinate design details, and support project efforts from schematic design through construction documentation.
Visit client project sites as part of the design process.

Requirements

2-4 years of related experience.
Ability to independently define/detail architectural concepts and perform limited code review and program analysis.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Skills

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit and BIM.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

$64,000 to $80,000
