About the Role
One of New York’s top plaintiff personal injury firms seeks an experienced HR/Executive Assistant with immediate availability. This role supports the scheduling and coordination of critical case events, ensuring legal deadlines are met and communications with clients are timely and professional. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and proficiency in legal technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Human Resources and firm leadership.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, and employee administrative tasks.
- Coordinate interviews, meetings, and other firm activities.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other basic legal documents.
- Assist with general office coordination, including ordering and maintaining office supplies and monitoring office needs.
- Coordinate with building management and vendors as needed.
- Assist with special projects and other duties assigned.
- Assist with Spanish-language communications and provide Spanish translations as needed.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of administrative for Human Resources experience preferred.
- Experience in a professional-services or law-firm environment is a plus.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Spanish proficiency is preferred, but not required.
