About the Role
DreamWorks Animation is seeking talented individuals to join our team. We are a growth-minded studio focused on producing high-quality animated films and series, pushing creative boundaries to tell compelling stories with unique characters.
Responsibilities
- Create artwork informing early story and visual development, as well as the production process.
- Generate artwork for characters, environments, backgrounds, and costume/prop design under the guidance of a Production Designer and Art Director.
- Support Story, Modeling, Surfacing, Matte Painting, and Layout departments with design specifics for locations and cameras.
- Ensure all timelines are met.
- Communicate work progress to production staff.
Requirements
- Ability to think and design from concept to finish independently.
- Strong understanding of design principles and color theory.
- Collaboration within a team of artists.
- Solid time-management skills.
