About the Role

Lucid is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the verification and test management platform, encompassing the entire lifecycle from requirements to test execution results. This internal product role focuses on the tooling, data model, and ensuring coverage evidence meets gate review standards for both hardware and software verification.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy and roadmap for test case management and test run management as a connected capability.
Own the traceability model linking requirements to test cases, runs, results, and defects.
Sequence delivery against vehicle program gates and state the impact of scope or staffing decisions.
Define coverage and readiness measures used in gate reviews.
Own source-of-truth decisions and reconciliation rules across systems.
Protect the integrity of the data model against expedient requests.
Collaborate with management on data model, pipeline, application, and process definitions.
Make coverage answerable on demand, tracking requirements, test cases, runs, and pass/fail status.
Drive migration from legacy requirements and test tooling, including data cleanup and habit changes.
Ensure verification evidence required for audits or safety cases is attached to its producing object.
Own the architecture of the test case library, including authoring, review, reuse, and versioning.
Own the paradigm for traceability of execution, including campaigns, scheduling, results capture, retesting, deviations, waivers, and defect linkage.
Reconcile hardware and software execution into a single program-level verification picture.
Partner with test engineering on platform automation and areas to remain unassisted.
Build and maintain relationships with director-level stakeholders across various departments.
Take recommendations into VP-level forums and answer detailed questions.
Broker priority conflicts between functions and facilitate decisions.
Represent the capability in program and gate reviews.
Conduct discovery with test engineers in their working environments.
Write specifications, decision records, and proposals that set direction.
Maintain a high bar for definition quality and review peer work.
Own launches with organizational risk, including pilot selection, readiness criteria, phased rollout, and fallback plans.
Generate training and communications for enablement and change management.
Measure adoption and data quality post-launch and address gaps.

Requirements

Product management experience with end-to-end ownership of an enterprise, internal platform, or business systems product.
Direct experience with verification or test management domains: requirements management, test case management, and test run management.
Working understanding of hardware and software verification differences and shared needs for program-level answers.
Demonstrated ownership of a system of record, including responsibility for data correctness and downstream consequences.
Proven ability to drive change.
Strong systems and data thinking: sources of truth, reconciliation logic, data modeling, integration latency, and failure behavior.
Excellent written communication skills for specifications, decision records, and proposals.
Credibility with engineers, able to understand their procedures and create specifications.
Data literacy including Jira and JQL, working SQL or equivalent, and the ability to interrogate data.
Effective use of AI assistants like GitHub Copilot for research, analysis, prototyping, and drafting, with output verification.
