About the Role
BNY | Pershing's Institutional Solutions team delivers a global clearing infrastructure to Broker-Dealers, Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, and Asset Managers. Our solutions enable clients to focus on growing their businesses while optimizing operational efficiency and managing risk. Pershing Prime Services supports the full custody, settlement, financing, short-selling, and trading requirements of hedge funds and alternative investment managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and respond to inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- Drive client satisfaction through proactive service, issue resolution, and escalation management.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, operational policies, risk controls, and KYC requirements.
- Advise clients on industry best practices, product solutions, and regulatory developments.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to support account strategy and client growth initiatives.
- Coordinate across internal teams to deliver seamless service and maintain awareness of client activity throughout the firm.
- Mentor junior Account Managers and contribute to broader team objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Account Management, Client Service, or a related role within the prime brokerage, prime custody, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the prime brokerage and/or prime custody landscape.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage complex client relationships and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Corporate Actions, Margin, Securities Lending, and Risk Management is preferred.
