About the Role
Lady Delilah is seeking a talented Sushi Chef to prepare sushi, rolls, and dishes from the sushi bar for both bar patrons and restaurant guests. The ideal candidate is proficient in various sushi techniques, comfortable with plating, and experienced in a fast-paced sushi environment. Advanced knife skills and customer interaction are essential, as is maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they sit down.
- Prepare raw fish and other sushi ingredients.
- Roll and plate dishes for customers, taking note of individual requests.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Be friendly and hospitable with all guests.
Requirements
- Culinary arts education and training (preferred).
- Cooking and sushi-making experience.
- Must have knife skills.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have communication, time-management, and organizational abilities.
