About the Role
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Psychiatrist - Outpatient to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Metropolitan Hospital is a full-service community hospital providing state-of-the-art care in a modern, welcoming environment. We offer culturally sensitive care to patients from all five New York City boroughs, utilizing the latest advances in medical science and maintaining a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College. Responsibilities
- Work in a collaborative setting alongside a multidisciplinary team including Social Workers, Psychologists, Entitlement Specialists, and Nurses.
- Provide teaching and supervision of Psychiatry Residents from New York Medical College.
- Work alongside experienced community Psychiatrists in a mission-driven environment.
- Work with an ethnically, socioeconomically, and clinically diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active New York State Medical License.

Salary/Compensations
- Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
- Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
