About the Role

Working in an Investor Center, you will develop customized financial plans using a wide range of products, services, and Fidelity’s planning tools. You will engage with existing clients and warm leads, focusing on providing investment solutions and growing relationships with a dedicated local advisor. You will work directly with clients to help them make investment decisions that are in their best interest, presenting and implementing solutions that suit their needs and develop a lasting impact on their financial future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customized financial plans utilizing a wide range of products, services, and Fidelity’s planning tools.
  • Engage with existing clients and warm leads.
  • Provide investment solutions and grow relationships with a dedicated local advisor.
  • Work directly with clients to help them make investment decisions that are in their best interest.
  • Present and implement solutions that suit the client’s needs.
  • Leverage Fidelity’s guidance tools to facilitate financial planning discussions and recommend solutions that best align with client needs.
  • Use technology to prepare for and conduct efficient one-on-one appointments, maximizing client time and enabling effective follow-up planning.
  • Grow relationships through proactive outreach, seeking to understand clients’ goals and objectives and referring them to wealth management partners based on needs and financial complexity.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, OR ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various investment solutions and can educate customers on the values and differences of each.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to grow relationships are exemplary.
  • Will take initiative and exceed expectations.
  • Outstanding communication and consultative skills, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Fidelity’s business is governed by the provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, numerous state laws governing securities, investment and retirement-related financial activities and the rules and regulations of numerous self-regulatory organizations, including FINRA, among others.
  • Those laws and regulations may restrict Fidelity from hiring and/or associating with individuals with certain Criminal Histories.
