About the Role

Assist the Manager of Revenue Requirements in preparing financial components for regulatory filings and contracts. Lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects through the regulatory filing process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare filings and direct the preparation of filings by others to the Regulatory Authority.
• Manage and coordinate the preparation of filing materials (testimony, supporting schedules, and other exhibits) to defend the Company’s regulatory proposals.
• Develop and oversee analysis supporting filings, adhering to ethical standards and utilizing accounting practices and financial principles.
• Manage the preparation of cost-of-service filings, including those for periodic reconciling mechanisms and base rate cases.
• Develop project plans and timelines, lead multi-functional teams in drafting filing material, prioritize tasks, resolve disagreements, and ensure timelines are met.
• Coordinate the preparation of responses to discovery from regulatory agencies and interveners.
• Interpret the impact of regulatory decisions and the regulatory environment on the organization.
• Monitor action plans and critical path schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
• Respond to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs, which may include an Emergency Restoration assignment outside of normal responsibilities, work hours, and location.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of utility ratemaking theories and processes.
• Knowledge of utility accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability in financial reporting and analyses.
• Demonstrated ability in working across functional / organizational boundaries.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability to work up to five days in the office if needed for emergencies, training, or other business needs, or if the policy changes.

Salary/Compensations

• $131,320.00-$145,910.00
