About the Role
Mastercard is seeking a Director, Product Management to drive growth in the Small & Medium Enterprises segment through solution innovation, commercialization, value proposition enhancements, and P&L optimization. The ideal candidate is passionate about SMEs, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities
- Execute strategy to capture incremental segment share and secure market, divisional leadership.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and SME lifecycle journeys to inform product and go-to-market strategies.
- Identify partnership opportunities to drive value proposition improvements and new distribution channels.
- Support and/or lead new product development initiatives, Product Line Strategy execution, and portfolio optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on role and business objectives.
- Support business development and account management colleagues in customer-facing discussions.
- Design and execute relevant use cases to advance digital solutions for the segment.
- Ensure sales readiness and training by developing necessary sales enablement tools for SMEs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in engaging internal and external commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Intermediate experience in financial services and/or payments.
- Keen understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends, and go-to-market considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to work across divisional and regional boundaries.
- Strong relationship management, influencing, presentation/verbal, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, a self-starter, and a quick learner with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage different priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Readiness to take on stretch goals.
- Responsible for information security, including abiding by security policies, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information, reporting suspected violations, and completing mandatory security trainings.
