About the Role
HELP USA is seeking a Safety Monitor to ensure a safe and secure environment at their assigned facility. Safety Monitors are the first contact with residents, helping them feel welcome and setting the tone for their stay. This role requires alertness, vigilance, and courtesy.
Responsibilities
- Patrolling facility grounds
- Ensuring residents and guests are properly signed in
- Escorting visitors to proper destinations
- Conducting unit inspections
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Preparing incident reports when necessary
Requirements
- New York State security guard license is required
- FDNY F-02 required
- High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, or capacity to work with homeless families/individuals and/or disadvantaged populations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide night and weekend coverage as needed

Salary/Compensations
- Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state, and local laws.
