About the Role
Audi New Rochelle is seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Counterperson to join their growing team. This role is crucial for the success of the dealership's Parts Department, requiring accuracy, urgency, communication, and teamwork to provide an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians and service advisors with accurate and timely parts requests
- Look up, source, and distribute OEM Audi parts
- Handle retail, wholesale, and internal parts transactions
- Maintain accurate parts orders, invoices, and inventory records
- Track special-order and backordered parts
- Work closely with the Service Department to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Communicate effectively with technicians, advisors, clients, and management
- Help maintain an organized, efficient, and high-performing Parts Department
- Contribute to department sales, gross profit, and overall performance
Requirements
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Dealership parts experience is a strong plus
- Audi/VW or European automotive experience is especially valuable
- CDK experience preferred
- MyKaarma experience is a plus
- Strong computer and electronic parts-catalog skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy dealership environment
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- A positive, team-first attitude
