About the Role
As an Intern/Co-op, you will work in a team environment and may have exposure to municipal infrastructure projects. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support a number of exciting local and national projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports.
- Assist technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing reports, and performing calculations for design projects.
- Gain exposure and perform basic tasks in CAD, Revit, GIS, and other design programs.
- Perform construction observations and assist with field work, as needed.
- Work with engineering modeling software that may include CAD, Revit, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and InfoWorks ICM, or other water related programs.
- Complete other engineering/administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.
- Willingness to learn.
