About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Associate on our Grocery Merchant Strategy & Operations teams to scale service offerings through third-party merchant partnerships. This role involves leading growth projects for major Grocery merchants, including portfolio management, ideating and launching 0-1 initiatives, and onboarding merchants to new services. You will partner closely with product, engineering, finance, analytics, and business development teams. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to a Manager on the New Verticals Strategy & Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Strategize from first principles to develop optimal strategies for serving all sides of the marketplace.
• Operate by owning tracking dashboards and managing week-over-week metrics to drive high-quality operations.
• Analyze using Excel and SQL to evaluate economic, operational, and strategic costs and benefits of programs and experiments, increasingly leveraging AI.
• Experiment by transforming strategies into operational experiments, product features, and net-new tooling.
• Build with AI by automating manual processes, building new prototypes, and developing product visions.
• Lead, collaborate, and influence cross-functional teams including growth, quality, finance, product, and engineering to launch initiatives.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of experience in highly analytical and cross-functional environments (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related).
• Demonstrated ownership and a bias for action.
• Ability to solve problems from first principles, synthesize complex problems, and translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
• Comfort operating at both high-level strategic thinking and detailed operational execution.
• Comfort with ambiguity and thriving in a rapidly changing, startup environment.
• Experience and enthusiasm for AI tools, with a builder's mindset to automate, accelerate, and unlock new work.
• Comfort with a role scope that may shift as AI capabilities evolve.
