About the Role
Dream Industrial REIT is seeking an Intern, Corporate Accounting to support the Corporate Accounting team starting in January 2027. This role offers an opportunity to deepen knowledge in the field and develop professional skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely quarterly financial reporting deliverables including financial statements, MD&A, and investor presentations.
- Lead the month-end closure process.
- Assist in transactional processing and daily accounting activities.
- Assist with budgets and financial analysis.
- Support AI and automation initiatives.
- Support the Corporate Accounting team in ad hoc and improvement projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- Desire to pursue an accounting designation.
- Diligent and detail-oriented when preparing deliverables.
- Driven to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities.
- Ability to work hard and smart to meet demands at key times of pressure.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal learning.
