About the Role
As a Senior Designer, you will be the primary design support for our Creative Director, ensuring nucao's brand consistency and distinctiveness across all channels. You will translate ideas into impactful visuals for campaigns, social media, print, packaging, and point-of-sale materials, while also contributing to the evolution of our brand identity and mentoring junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Design execution for print, digital, social, packaging, and POS, from initial concept to final artwork.
- Manage relationships with printers and production partners through to final approval.
- Ensure all assets strengthen the nucao brand presence and contribute to the Corporate Design relaunch.
- Develop media systems for campaigns and product launches, adapting content for different channels.
- Collaborate closely with Brand, Social Media, Product Management, Sales, and the Creative Director.
- Develop impactful ideas that resonate with the target audience and differentiate the brand.
- Structure design requests, prioritize tasks, and manage projects efficiently to ensure high-quality output.
- Create clear briefings for designers to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of design experience, preferably in FMCG, Food, Lifestyle, or Consumer Goods.
- Proven experience in independently implementing a multi-channel campaign system.
- Experience in the professional guidance of junior designers, interns, or freelancers.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work in print, digital, social, campaigns, and ideally packaging.
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, imagery, and brand management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Advanced skills in Figma.
- Experience with final artwork preparation, print pre-press, and packaging production.
- Hands-on mentality with a good sense for trends, pop culture, and visual codes.
- Fluent German language skills.
