About the Role
As Early Childhood Learning Staff, you'll work alongside our early childhood team to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 18 months through 5 years old. You'll support classroom activities, daily routines, learning experiences, and positive interactions that help young children learn, grow, and thrive. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the School-Age Childcare Lead to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum, tailored to the unique needs and interests of the children.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and family members through the Playground App, ensuring transparency and engagement in their child's daily experiences.
- Cultivate positive adult-child interactions utilizing the CLASS method, fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Support the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the entire center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
