About the Role
Support a classroom where children develop confidence through meaningful learning experiences. The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for Preschool & UPK Substitute Teacher Assistants. You will support daily activities and curriculum in an assigned classroom, working alongside educators to foster children's social-emotional development and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the daily activities and curriculum in an assigned classroom.
- Support children's social-emotional development.
- Help create a classroom where children feel encouraged to learn.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Ensure program quality in accordance with Creative Curriculum philosophy and YMCA program policies.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years’ experience in a childcare setting.
- Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications preferred.
