About the Role
As an Analyst on the Relationship Management team in the Consumer and Retail Division, you will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to support business development efforts, market U.S. Bank’s full suite of products, and coordinate with Product Partners to facilitate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Provides support including industry research, and maintaining internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, Salesforce reports, etc.
- Prepares marketing materials for client meetings and prospect acquisition, coordinating with product areas, as well as other activities as identified/directed by the RMs
- Executes pricing models and compiles information for the credit approval process
- Conducts due diligence and financial analysis on clients to determine long term financing solutions and cross-sell opportunities
- Consolidates a weekly report highlighting trends in the capital markets
- Works on special projects analyzing industry trends & challenges and other areas as directed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Up to one year of previous banking or related finance experience
- Previous banking, finance or sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of the credit process and debt structures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.
