About the Role
FP Movement is seeking a Wholesale Planner to support the wholesale sales team, drive top-line growth, and develop financial plans for maximum profitability.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales with analytics to pitch strategies, problem-solve, and identify opportunities.
- Act as an account-facing representative during market appointments, discussing financial data.
- Create hindsight reporting for each delivery by account, including findings and suggested actions.
- Manage location selling by obtaining and entering weekly, MTD, and STD sales and stock data, providing suggestions to drive sales or highlight issues.
- Manage Market Share reporting and regional opportunities.
- Create and maintain class selling reports.
- Manage internal and account profitability.
- Create preseason sales, margin, and inventory plans for key accounts.
- Manage OTB for key accounts.
- Provide analytics for key account deep dives to identify opportunities.
- Support the sales team and account partners.
- Support monthly forecasting submissions with the sales team.
- Develop ad-hoc analytical reports and tools.
- Provide account recommendations on inventory to sales and account partners.
- Recap weekly selling by classification, style, and color, highlighting best sellers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of planning experience, preferably in wholesale.
- Must be a quick learner, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities.
- Strong forecasting and analytical skills.
- Must have strong Excel skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well on a team.
- Creative problem solver/ “outside the box” thinker.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be proficient with systems such as: Skypad, Blue Cherry, Power Point.
