About the Role
The Corporate Strategy team partners with LSEG's CEO, CFO, and Executive Committee to craft the Group's overall strategy, resolve priorities for growth, ensure business unit strategies align with Group strategy, and lead strategic initiatives. This role is central to LSEG's transformation into a global, multi-asset-class provider of financial market infrastructure and data, leveraging its partnership with Microsoft for growth powered by cloud and AI.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to specific elements of team-owned deliverables and related investor materials.
- Support strategy projects by performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, problem-solving, framing hypotheses, and delivering high-quality written documents and presentations.
- Conduct detailed analysis of company and market information to evaluate inorganic opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships across LSEG on behalf of the team.
Requirements
- Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, including detailed research, hypothesis testing, and financial modeling.
- Critical thinking and ability to tackle complex problems in a structured manner.
- Experience in conducting market and competitive landscape assessments.
- Ability to develop clear and pragmatic recommendations.
- Understanding of the M&A process and experience supporting commercial diligence of potential inorganic opportunities (preferable, not required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience preparing executive briefings.
- Ability to build and develop relationships with key partners and represent the team.
- Ability to reach across LSEG to bring together expertise and diverse perspectives.
- Experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or an in-house corporate strategy role.
- Experience in Technology, B2B, Data, and Financial Services sectors (preferable, not required).
