About the Role

Provide technical, clinical, and sales support for the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. This role is crucial for the launch and adoption of new technologies and requires developing and executing strategies to grow the mapping and navigation system. The position offers overall technical, clinical, and educational support for the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.
  • Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
  • Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals for all CAS products.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships to drive incremental business.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate and strategize with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS products.
  • Communicate effectively with sales and clinical teams in the region.
  • Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service, and support.
  • Act as a regional champion to share experience and influence others in mastering mapping technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with a minimum of four years of work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.
  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
  • Ability to travel more than 75% of the time.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
  • Driving record will be reviewed and considered as part of the application.
  • Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

  • Possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment (for roles below Principal level).
