About the Role
Partnering across open, laparoscopic, minimally invasive therapies, and robotic-assisted surgery, this role is centered on collaboration, training, and innovation within the surgical ecosystem. It aims to meet current demands while advancing minimally invasive surgeries for the future, always prioritizing improved patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels across assigned customer locations to ensure product availability and continuity of supply.
- Receive, inspect, reconcile, and organize incoming product shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory utilization trends and develop replenishment recommendations to support customer inventory requirements.
- Maintain established inventory par levels and oversee organization of storage locations containing a broad range of product stock-keeping units.
- Identify and communicate product shortages, backorders, and supply risks while recommending appropriate product alternatives when available.
- Partner with materials management, nursing, and clinical stakeholders to address inventory-related issues, product availability concerns, and replenishment needs.
- Analyze inventory data and coordinate with internal and customer partners to support inventory planning and operational efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant professional experience in inventory management, supply chain, materials management, logistics, operations, healthcare support, or a related function; or an advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
- Experience maintaining inventory records, performing inventory audits or cycle counts, and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Experience using inventory management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), or related systems to manage inventory transactions and reporting.
- Ability to travel locally within the assigned territory and work regularly onsite at customer locations.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the assigned territory.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment (for non-Principal level roles).
