About the Role

The Marketing Faculty supports learning on campus and across all distance learning modalities. Responsible for preparing and delivering coursework, including emerging and digital areas of marketing practice, in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and create an environment that promotes affiliation for all. This position starts in January 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and teach courses in Marketing, including digital marketing, AI-powered marketing, and luxury marketing.
  • Participate actively in departmental responsibilities and governance, including curriculum review and revision, program review, and assessment of student learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback.
  • Serve as a mentor to students in the Marketing program.
  • Provide teaching and mentoring services without discrimination.
  • Remain current in the field, particularly in emerging areas such as AI applications in marketing.
  • Support division and department goals through active and collegial engagement.
  • Serve on collegewide and departmental committees, councils, work groups, and task forces.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and other technologies for the classroom.
  • Applied knowledge of current marketing technology and software, such as AI-powered marketing tools, social media management platforms, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with using an online learning management system such as Blackboard.
  • Appropriate use of the college's learning management system.
  • Meet deadlines for attendance certification and submission of final course grades.
  • Participate in graduation, general assembly, and other official college functions.
  • Maintain regular office hours to assist students and improve student retention and success.
  • Attend and participate in college-wide, campus, department, or other activities and meetings.
  • Ethics, integrity, and sound professional judgment.
  • Commitment to establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with students, colleagues, and staff.
  • Dynamic, non-traditional instructional delivery methods.
  • Appropriate and up-to-date knowledge of the discipline and subject matter.
  • Experience using technology as an instructional aide.
  • Documented experience with active and applied teaching and learning methodologies.
  • Strong commitment to teaching in a community college setting.

Experience Level

  • Three years of non-teaching, industry-related work experience within the field of Marketing.

Education Level

  • Master’s degree in Marketing or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Marketing.
  • Master's degree including a Marketing emphasis of at least 15 graduate hours in Marketing may also be considered.

Salary/Compensations

  • $71,270 - $96,596 (Based on a 10.5-month Contract to start Spring)
