About the Role
As a Childcare Aide in the Day Care/Early Learn program at one of our Family Shelters, you will play an important role in helping children impacted by homelessness continue to learn and develop.
Responsibilities
- Assist Teachers and Assistant Teachers with facilitation of educational curriculum and implementation of lesson plans and daily activity schedules.
- Keep equipment accessible and in good, clean, sanitized condition, removing and reporting damaged or unsafe equipment.
- Meet and greet children and their families daily, encouraging family volunteerism and participation in their children's program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills.
- Experience working with preschool-age children.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
