About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects, plan requirements with internal customers, and usher projects through their entire lifecycle. This includes managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects will span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, keeping all players coordinated on project progress and deadlines. You will design, develop, and launch a new global program to accelerate data center turnover from construction to operations, built upon a culture of respect, empowerment, data, and speed. You will engage in the process daily to ensure smooth operation, support high-priority decisions, illuminate gaps, and drive process improvements. You will also leverage your skills to help facilitate individual site, regional, and global turnover decisions by breaking them down into smaller pieces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch a new program to help construction teams turnover data centers.
• Foster optimization and speed while collecting, analyzing, and visualizing the data needed to drive the program forward.
• Standardize issue mitigation, issue remediation, and risk management plans.
• Understand infrastructure availability at turnover and ensure the process scales with future business growth.
• Engage and obtain input from operational leaders to ensure well-informed decisions.
• Maintain relationships with partner organizations to ensure active participation, engagement, and early involvement.
• Drive standardization and consistency across global processes for uniform decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management at data centers, manufacturing, oil and gas, or other 24x7 operations.
• Experience supporting teams to deliver projects in constantly evolving environments.
• Experience with process documentation, process mapping, and workflow improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving and advanced data analytics skills.
