About the Role

Perform field testing of fresh concrete at active construction sites throughout New York City. This role involves conducting required tests, preparing concrete samples, documenting results, and coordinating with contractors and laboratory personnel.

Responsibilities

Perform field testing of fresh concrete in accordance with applicable ASTM and project requirements.
Perform slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight testing.
Cast and properly label concrete cylinders for laboratory testing.
Document test results and complete daily field reports.
Coordinate pickup and transportation of concrete samples to the laboratory.
Communicate testing results and field conditions to project personnel.
Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements.
Maintain testing equipment in proper working condition.

Requirements

Ability to travel to construction sites throughout New York City.
Flexible schedule based on concrete placement and project requirements.
Early morning, evening, or weekend work may occasionally be required.
Ability to complete accurate field reports and testing documentation.
Ability to work outdoors and on active construction sites.
Ability to lift and transport concrete testing equipment and samples.
Reliable and able to travel to project sites throughout New York City.
