About the Role
As a heavy-duty overnight Cleaner, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level. The overnight shift is 11:00PM – 7:00AM, Sunday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the floors, washrooms and garbage bins of the facility
- Cleaning of classrooms in your area
- Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms, common and entrance areas
- Replenishing any used or missing supplies in washrooms (toilet rolls, hand towels, hand soap)
- Dusting all visible surfaces within reach (counter tops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges and vents)
- Spot cleaning all lobby floors and wash thoroughly as required
- Vacuuming all entrance mats in lobbies
Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand on feet for 8 hours
- Able to operate cleaning equipment and machine
- Able to communicate with manager and supervisor
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
Skills
- WHMIS knowledge is an asset, but training will be provided
- Floor care experience is an asset
- Ability to reach, kneel and bend
