About the Role
This role supports daily operations through a variety of tasks including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.
Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents rooms and common areas.
- Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Salary/Compensations
- The hourly wage rate for this position is $19. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process.
