About the Role
As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will serve as the voice of the customer while leading some of Maverik's highest-impact growth marketing programs. This role combines customer-focused marketing, innovation, emerging technology, and cross-functional collaboration to drive customer engagement, increase store visits, grow basket size, and generate measurable business results. You'll partner closely with teams across the organization to identify growth opportunities, launch new initiatives, and help shape the future of Maverik's marketing strategy. This role plays a key part in Maverik's long-term growth strategy by identifying, launching, and scaling marketing programs that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and scale Maverik’s highest-impact marketing growth programs, including digital couponing, age-gated campaigns, retail media network, and online ordering, focusing on driving measurable increases in store trips, basket size, and overall sales.
- Lead strategy, testing, and optimization of promotional and channel programs across Maverik’s retail ecosystem to influence real-time customer purchase behavior.
- Build and scale new growth capabilities for marketing in Maverik stores by identifying industry trends and emerging tools, launching pilots, and operationalizing successful programs across the store network.
- Drive cross-functional execution across Category, Operations, Digital, and Creative teams to bring age gated and RMN campaigns and new initiatives to market, ensuring alignment on offers, messaging, and in-store execution.
- Establish a disciplined test-and-learn model across all growth initiatives through collaboration with teams to understand customer segmentation, measure sales impact, customer response, and in-store conversion.
- Work cross-functionally through campaign planning and execution, while supporting Creative, Digital and PR relationships.
- Understand core customer and positioning within each campaign to ensure best go-to-market strategy.
- Ensure brand consistency by aligning messaging with brand equity, voice, and storytelling priorities.
- Serve as a brand champion by effectively communicating brand plans and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
- 5+ yrs. Experience in Marketing and Consumer Marketing.
- Experience in the convenience store or food service industry a plus.
