About the Role

This position supports the oversight and compliance of the quality program at the Olgam Plasma Center. The Quality Assurance Associate ensures adherence to all federal, local, and organizational standards for plasma collection and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the management and maintenance of compliance to ensure the center remains audit ready.
  • Oversees compliance and regulatory adherence of all center processes, including production, facility and equipment maintenance, inventory management, employee relations, customer complaints, training, and product/medical management.
  • Reports deviations from operating procedures.
  • Tracks and trends errors, assesses risk, and manages corrective and preventative actions.
  • May authorize the release, quarantine, or investigation of collected product under manager direction.
  • Reports center compliance status to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Oversees, hosts, reviews, and responds to internal and external audits.
  • Provides continuous feedback to center personnel on compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direct oversight.
  • Able to evaluate and interpret regulations and recognize the need for appropriate changes relative to business operations.
  • Possesses organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional communication and the ability to inform and report appropriately to executive leadership.
  • Scheduling flexibility to ensure appropriate center support and coverage.
  • Ability to execute multi-step technical driven tasks.
  • Familiarization with electronic systems/platforms used to organize, track, and execute tasks.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for a minimum of 8 hours in a scheduled work day.

Experience Level

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.

Education Level

  • B.S./B.A degree preferred.
  • Degree or Certificate in Business Management or Organizational development accepted.
  • Education may be substituted for experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
