About the Role

Picton Mahoney Asset Management is seeking a detail-oriented and digitally savvy Associate Digital Marketing Manager to join their high-performing Marketing team on an 18-month contract to cover a maternity leave. This full-time role focuses on supporting the day-to-day management of digital platforms, including website updates, landing page creation, content quality assurance, and digital search performance. The successful candidate will ensure the company's digital presence is polished, functional, and aligned with brand and business goals, while also owning web data reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update website content, including uploading documents and managing digital assets.
  • Implement formatting changes and small updates to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and consistency with brand standards.
  • Build and modify landing pages for campaigns, events, and other initiatives.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance (QA) checks to confirm site functionality, responsiveness, and overall performance.
  • Own digital search performance across both organic (SEO) and paid channels, including metadata updates, on-page enhancements, and paid search campaign support.
  • Partner with the AI team to help build out the emerging AI / Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy.
  • Own web data reporting and analytics, using tools such as Google Analytics to monitor performance, user behavior, and engagement trends.
  • Partner with the Director, Digital & Design to translate analytics insights into recommendations and updates for the website.
  • Provide regular digital reporting to stakeholders, highlighting key trends, wins, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, content, and marketing automation teams to support digital campaign execution.
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables using project management tools like Asana.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives with a focus on efficiency, execution, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, website management, or a related area.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to organization and execution.
  • Familiarity with basic front-end web tasks such as formatting and content editing within a content management system.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CMS platforms (experience with Contentful is an asset).
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, with hands-on experience in organic and paid search; familiarity with platforms like Google Ads is an asset.
  • Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics, including reporting and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Exposure to marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot is considered an asset.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Asana.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proactive and adaptable approach to working across teams.
