About the Role

We are looking for a tech-savvy problem solver fluent in English and Québécois technical French to provide technical support for business clients and assist with our Quebec expansion by translating documentation and supporting French-language deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose networking, hardware, and integration issues for business clients.
  • Translate knowledge base and training material into technical Québécois French.
  • Support the onboarding team during French-language deployments.
  • Configure workflows and deliver training for French-language deployments.
  • Answer technical questions during French-language deployments.
  • Provide bug reports, feature gaps, and edge case feedback to the product team.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system for our VoIP platform.
  • Troubleshoot networking, hardware, and API integrations with platforms like Applied Epic, Salesforce, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Document technical findings in Confluence.
  • Monitor system alerts.
  • Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule (at most one week per month).

Requirements

  • Complete written and spoken fluency in English and technical Québécois French.
  • Solid foundation in networking, cloud communications, and hardware setup (desk phones, mobile apps).
  • Post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with Broker Management Systems (Applied Epic) or CRMs (Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (SOC2, PIPEDA, E&O defensibility).
  • Working knowledge of Quebec's Law 25 and Bill 96.
  • Experience documenting technical solutions in Confluence.
  • 3+ years in technical support, IT helpdesk, NOC, field service, or B2B client onboarding.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals in either language.
  • Enjoy learning and reverse engineering to understand how things work.
  • Comfortable owning the French technical answer when no one else has one.
