About the Role

Product Marketing at hx is a strategic function responsible for shaping the company's positioning and messaging, guiding product launches, and building go-to-market processes. This role requires deep understanding of technical users, particularly actuaries, to develop effective messaging, positioning, and content. The position involves managing senior stakeholders and solving problems proactively within a supportive and fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive deeper engagement and adoption of Calculation Engines among existing users by analyzing usage data and creating targeted messaging and enablement.
  • Own end-to-end go-to-market execution for the Portfolio Intelligence release, including positioning, launch materials, enablement, and user communications.
  • Accelerate early adoption of Portfolio Intelligence by creating onboarding support and launch assets that help target users achieve value quickly.
  • Act as the developer community's champion by writing technical content and directly answering architecture and integration questions.
  • Build hx's position in actuarial AI by developing differentiated positioning and competitive understanding for various communication channels.
  • Establish strong feedback loops between users, Product, Revenue, and the AI team to inform messaging, prioritization, and product direction.

Requirements

  • Led product marketing in a B2B SaaS environment, balancing adoption of existing products with launch readiness for new ones.
  • Increased product engagement or adoption by using user insight to sharpen messaging or enablement, with measurable improvements.
  • Owned a product launch end-to-end, including internal readiness and enablement.
  • Transformed complex technical capabilities into credible, differentiated messaging for skeptical, technical audiences.
  • Worked hands-on alongside a Solutions Engineer or equivalent technical partner, comfortable with technical details and earning trust across teams.
  • Used AI with judgment regarding technical claims to improve systems like enablement, competitive intelligence, or win/loss analysis.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity where products, priorities, and messaging are still evolving.
  • Focus on detail-oriented, outcomes-driven work of deepening adoption, engagement, and user understanding.
  • Ability to prioritize and make trade-offs without perfect information, using judgment to move work forward.
  • Commitment and conviction to growing with the company.
