About the Role
The Global Mobility Supervisor is a key member of Latham’s Global Mobility team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of international assignments and transfers. Core responsibilities include managing allowances, preparing and reviewing cost estimates, processing expense reports, maintaining assignment management databases, and managing external vendor relationships. This role will also manage performance evaluations and partner closely with Human Capital & Talent to recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members, ensuring departmental objectives are consistently met with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end support for international assignees, permanent transferees, and their families in accordance with firm policies, including providing process orientations, introducing and coordinating with third-party vendors, and managing exception requests.
- Organise, assign, delegate, and coordinate the work of the Global Mobility team to ensure departmental objectives are met accurately and on time.
- Assess country-specific immigration requirements and initiate engagement with the appropriate immigration vendor, where required.
- Determine the amount of income to be imputed into assignees’ income based on monthly general ledger reports, coordinate payment with payroll, and review journal entries to ensure accuracy.
- Manage allowances, prepare and review cost estimates, process expense reports, maintain assignment management databases, and manage external vendor relationships.
- Manage performance evaluations and partner closely with Human Capital & Talent to recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm.
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus.
- Exhibit organisational skills needed to manage time well, prioritise effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
