About the Role
The Associate Account Manager (AAM) is a developmental role designed to build foundational skills, technical knowledge, and client-facing service experience to progress into an Account Manager position. The AAM supports account servicing activities through coordination, documentation, follow-up, and quality review of work completed across Shared Services.
Responsibilities
- Supports Account Managers and Account Executives in day-to-day client service activities.
- Assists in the preparation and coordination of client materials.
- Reviews work for accuracy, completeness, and client readiness.
- Maintains client documentation in accordance with internal standards and systems.
- Participates in client and internal meetings to build understanding of account management and client servicing.
- Develops a basic understanding of triage frameworks and the Shared Services delivery model.
- Establishes foundational knowledge of building and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers.
- Completes training and development activities aligned to progression into an Account Manager role.
Requirements
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Commercial Lines Insurance Account Management.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to review and interpret policy documents, carrier correspondence, and insurance-related financial information.
- Strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize Applied EPIC and other agency management systems.

- $55,000 – $70,000
