About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Support a government healthcare location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and provide directions or assistance to visitors in a courteous manner.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
