About the Role
As an Overnight Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively, following procedures and communicating with emergency responders and site representatives.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
