About the Role
Lead Burberry's Heathrow Airport retail operation, overseeing a team of 35-40 employees. This high-profile leadership role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving commercial performance, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced travel retail environment. Act as a brand ambassador, inspiring teams to bring Burberry's values, heritage, and innovative spirit to life for global customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site team across Heathrow terminals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and exceptional service.
- Drive commercial performance by identifying opportunities to maximize sales, client engagement, and business growth.
- Partner with the Assistant Store Manager and leadership team to ensure consistent standards and effective execution across all locations.
- Create an elevated luxury experience that reflects Burberry’s brand values and builds lasting customer relationships.
- Oversee operational excellence, including workforce planning, stock management, compliance, and health and safety standards.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, building a diverse and inclusive team capable of delivering outstanding results.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large, multi-site, or high-volume retail teams within a premium or luxury environment.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop individuals and teams.
- Commercially minded with experience driving sales performance and operational effectiveness.
- Confident managing multiple priorities and delivering results within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating an inclusive team culture.
