About the Role
As Group Product Lead for the Availability & Fulfilment team, you will lead multiple teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive growth. You will be responsible for managing the product development process from discovery to defining products that are desirable, feasible, and viable, driving innovation and transformation to achieve customer and business outcomes. You will shape the product strategy for your domain, ensuring teams translate strategy into actionable work for development teams and deliver a best-in-class customer and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Managing the product development process from product discovery and understanding tactical and strategic problems.
- Defining the area on which to focus and developing products that are desirable, feasible, and viable.
- Driving innovation and transformation to achieve both customer and business outcomes.
- Shaping the product strategy for your domain.
- Ensuring all teams can translate the strategy into prioritised and actionable units of work for the Development teams.
- Delivering a best-in-class customer and user experience for business success across multiple digital touchpoints.
- Leading by example with a hands-on approach, coaching and developing an expert high performing team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability in Product Leadership, managing value creation and strategy across a mix of 1-5 year Product horizons.
- Comprehensive understanding of shop, supply chain and inventory management technologies and operations, through an internal user, customer and competitor lens.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in multiple locations, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities while adhering to time-sensitive deadlines.
- Highly commercial and analytical.
- An excellent communicator and storyteller, able to build trusting relationships with key stakeholders and presenting concepts and ideas in different formats, depending on context.
- Demonstrable evidence of leading large scale transformational change initiatives in areas with high legacy and/or complexity.
- Accomplished people manager, with a history of growing Product Management talent and managing individual, team and 3rd party performance.
