About the Role
This role is responsible for the preparation and delivery of all infant feedings, adhering to sanitary regulations and standards. It also involves providing excellent customer relations and serving as a role model through exemplary behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver infant feedings following sanitary regulations and standards.
- Provide care committed to the highest standard of Customer Relations principles.
- Serve as role models by practicing exemplary behaviors.
- Understand and interpret infant feeding orders.
- Utilize Timeless (Breastmilk Tracking System) to safely and accurately prepare infant feedings.
- Follow proper aseptic technique when handling infant feeding products.
- Identify and communicate questions or concerns to appropriate staff members.
- Perform basic math calculations.
- Follow patient safety standards during preparation and delivery of formula and breast/donor milk.
- Operate equipment necessary to successfully prepare and deliver infant feedings.
- Follow all procedures and processes defined for formula and breast/donor milk preparation.
- Maintain good organizational skills for formula and breast/donor milk preparation.
- Maintain inventories for all items/products utilized in the prep rooms.
- Complete inventory of products and place orders following the appropriate process.
- Use effective communication skills with the interdisciplinary team to manage job duties.
- Receive products into Timeless accurately and in a timely manner.
- Report any product issues to management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED + 1 year of other schooling
- Nutrition background/experience preferred
- Access to information is based on a “need to know” and is the minimum necessary to properly perform assigned duties.
- Use or disclosure shall not exceed the minimum amount of information needed to accomplish an intended purpose.
- Reasonable efforts shall be made to ensure that information is adequately protected from unauthorized access and modification.
