About the Role
The Enrollment Services Assistant provides complex administrative and technical support for student records, bar certifications, course and enrollment management, and Law School examinations. The role maintains accurate and confidential student records, processes certifications and enrollment requests, and provides information and guidance to students, faculty, staff, and external organizations. The position also supports exam administration and proctor coordination and serves as an initial point of contact for the Law School Registrar’s Office.
Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to bar, professional licensing, and student certification requirements.
- Research and prepare enrollment, prospective graduation, loan deferral, and character and fitness verifications.
- Maintain tracking and reporting related to student character and fitness and bar exam results.
- Maintain statistics, prepare charts and reports, and compile annual student character surveys.
- Create, update, and maintain course and class information in Law School and university databases.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and the public, triaging questions and directing inquiries as appropriate.
- Assist with the preparation, administration, and processing of Law School examinations.
- Coordinate semester exam proctoring, including scheduling and providing proctor support.
- Prepare and maintain exam proctor materials.
- Conduct semester proctor information sessions.
- Assist students with examination-related issues and questions.
- Maintain Registrar’s Office webpages and collaborate with Law IT on website updates.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree and 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work successfully with highly confidential material under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with differing deadlines and prioritize work on projects happening simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community.
