About the Role

Responsibilities

Maintain high production, quality, and yields while ensuring a safe working environment.
Understand and control the production process, perform accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing.
Hire, train, retain, and counsel team members on personal and professional issues.
Educate team members on benefits, compensation, and company policies.
Guide the team in stretches before their shift and rotate workstations.
Check daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders, accurate shipments, record keeping, inventory rotation, and proper product coding.
Ensure all workstations on the line are staffed before production start-up.
Ensure all machinery is performing correctly and all workstations have passed USDA Inspection.
Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
Oversee various processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors to solve problems.
Provide continuous education on the importance of quality.
Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma; additional vocational or college courses preferred.
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; prior supervisory experience preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Some travel is required to other facilities or corporate.
