About the Role

Assist the business unit marketing team with activities related to business development proposals, presentations, research, and the development of marketing materials. This internship requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and is expected to start in 2026 and run through August 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of business development proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct research and update marketing databases with sales and customer-related data, including project/role descriptions, sales leads, staff resumes, client contact lists, and pursuit and project information.
  • Engage in graphic production and content development of marketing materials.
  • Manage digital assets and social media marketing.
  • Maintain brand standards across all marketing materials.
  • Provide supervisor with periodic status or progress reports.
  • Maintain professionalism with company employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Perform other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a college or university with an accredited degree program in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Possess attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exhibit clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to proofread.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, curious, and eager attitude towards learning and participation.
  • Ability to quickly learn and process information, take direction, follow tasks to completion, and work in a deadline-driven team environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft suite of applications.
  • Flexible to work up to 40 hours per week or more as required.
  • Possess reliable transportation and be able to travel as requested.
  • Able to climb permanent and temporary stairs, use construction personnel hoists, climb ladders, and negotiate work areas under construction.
  • Frequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently view a computer monitor and use a computer keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly required to be mobile and travel both short and long distances via various conveyances.
  • Regularly perform work on-site at construction work sites, office locations, and/or off-site venues.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly work at construction work sites exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
  • Work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
