About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in a dynamic and strategically important area of global trade. As an Export Controls Advisor supporting U.S. Operations, you will work at the intersection of regulatory compliance, supply chain continuity, and international business enablement. Strong analytical instincts, comfort with regulatory research, and a drive to solve complex problems with real business impact are essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage export compliance operations, including export documentation, EEI filing audits, shipping records, and audit-ready compliance files.
- Research and interpret U.S. export regulations (including EAR) and provide clear guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Support export licensing activities through record maintenance, license tracking, and application preparation.
- Resolve GTM system holds and compliance issues in partnership with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted shipment flow.
- Drive process improvements and scalable compliance workflows while maintaining accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance, operations, supply chain, legal, finance, or related function
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research and apply findings to practical business problems
- Familiarity with trade, customs, or regulatory compliance concepts
- Experience with ERP or trade management systems
- Prior exposure to export documentation or international shipping processes
