About the Role
This role is responsible for unloading and delivering products to customers, performing vehicle inspections, and safely operating commercial vehicles and material handling equipment. The position also involves picking up returned products and completing related paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Unload and deliver products to customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts
- Securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
- Pick up returned products, including payments and pallets
- Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must have 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidays
- Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs
